The Solstice

Today is the shortest day of the year for the southern hemisphere. As such I wake up I have rarely been outside with sunlight. As such my running has gone shit with only 1 run over the past 2 weeks. Well at least I don't have to move again.

I shifted places last weekend and now live with a mid 30's sales manager for a travel company and he seems like a pretty good dude. He owns the house and is away at sales conferences a lot so I will have the house to myself quite a bit. He owns this place so I don't have to worry about moving hopefully for the rest of the time I'm in Auckland. The old roommates have now moved to London. I was totally shocked at their laziness and how inconsiderate they were during the move. They didn't pack or even start, until after one of their fathers had come to pick their stuff up. They ended up having to stay up all night after they were to be gone, and forced him to miss work after he had already spent 1000 on their move. I was going to help them clean up the place but they can only waste my time for so long. I had offered to help them pack and get things sorted the week prior to moving but they kept on putting things off. All I can say is Fuck um...
