Dinner Date

The boss pulled me aside the other day and told me to take Snarl out for dinner on the company account. He said that he knew that she was heading back down to Palmy for the next semester and should go on a nice date. Well I am not going to pass up a chance like that so we went to this fancy restaurant called Micanos down on the waterfront last night. It was this big open restaurant which huge windows to view the harbor and helicopter pad. We decided to try food that we hadn't eaten before. I ended up having ostrich fillets for my appetizer and then had a local fish called Hapuku (blackened with lemon risotto and lemon butter). Snarl had local snapper fillets pan fried with herbs on carrot, parsnip and potato mash. The meal was great and it was one of those places we wouldn't have gone on our own because of the prices! Thanks Boss!
