Tis the season to be self indulgent

My weekends seem to be over way before I am ready. I try to cram way too much in to each weekend and, by the end, I am ready to head back to work and give my body a break. Well this weekend was no different. It was composed of playing a little golf and having a few beers on Friday night, working at the bike store during the days on Saturday and Sunday, hanging out with the Mrs on Saturday nights after she got back from the trip with her sister, and going to my work Christmas party on Sunday night. For those of you in a power of influence who think that Christmas parties on a Sunday is a great idea because no one will get too drunk...STOP. All it does a make for a very unproductive Monday morning for those who indulged a little too much. Anytime work decides that they will pay for drinks, people will consume too much and, especially being a Sunday, makes for a hard way to start the new work week. Here are is an article on how to survive this year's many Christmas functions.

The Swede just sent me an article over the benefits of "self pleasure". Keeping your pipes clean has many cancer reducing benefits because many carcinogens accumulate in the prostate and need to be expelled from the body. The risk reduction is not the same when it is done with a partner because of the risk of getting an STD, which could increase the cancer risk. They found that those men who ejaculated the most between the ages of 20-50 were the least likely to develop cancer, and those who ejaculated more than 5 times per week were less likely to develop cancer later in life. Those old wives tales are wrong...You are not going to go blind and develop hairy palms, but live a long, and enjoyable life.

Another new finding on self indulgence. Moderate drinking is shown to correlate with lower waistline's. Having a drink a day is shown to be good for the body and the metabolism, however, if you take it more than that heavy drinkers had a 30% greater chance of being overweight. I think it has been drilled into us not to go overboard (not that I can talk) but at least keep it in check if you want to fit into your clothes after New Years. There is also a new Molson Canadian beer ad, this time its Guy the Quebecer....gotta love stereotypes.

Also check out Kyle McDonald. He started trading one red paper clip over the web to accumulate better items each time until he gets a house. He now has a snowmobile so anyone who wants to get rid of some stuff or wants to make him an offer. All I can say is I wish that I thought of it first.

Ok this is just a plug...I haven't seen many games here in NZ but seriously how about those Colts....Now 12-0. It would be cool for them to go undefeated this season. While Peyton's stats aren't as good as last season he is the man. All you can say is wow.
