Void Touching

I had to work both days at the bike store this weekend. This time of year is usually mental but for some reason the whole store has been slow. The managers are getting a little anxious because they have hired a whole bunch of new staff for the season but there is really nothing to do. It drives me crazy being in a job where you have to look for things to do and try to look busy. Its so unproductive and stressfull trying to make your boss think that you are doing something when you are actually staring at the clock or staring vacently out the window....I guess I can't complain because I really don't have to be there. I still work at there so I can have some extra spending money. I have found that I don't do a lot on Saturdays so if I work for a few hours it can pay for my night time fun.
I rented a few movies over the weekend. I finally watched Metallica's "Some Kind of Monster". It was pretty good and it gave a good picture of the ego's those guys have. Lars Ulrich made me laugh the whole thing with all his temper tanrums and antics. I am also trying to learn how to play guitar. I have downloaded the tabs for "Nothing Else Matters" and I am obsessed with trying to get it right. I have only made it through about the first 10 secs before I skrew up. Haha I can see how addicting playing an instrument is. Char and I also watched "Touching the Void". While you may think that it is some kinky adult movie, it surely isn't haha. It is about these British mountain climbers who go through hell and back. I really can't believe how strong these guys were. Walking for miles through glaciers with a broken leg. It is really an outstanding film. Anyways I have to get back to my rewrite. CIAO
oh ya there is a new era in Canada hockey with Mario and Stevie pulling out of the Olympics. I am so glad I got to see them play in 2002 in Salt Lake. What an amazing experiance and their leadership qualities will surely be missed
