Movie Review: Superman Returns

Snarl and I went and checked out the new Superman movie over the weekend. I was a big fan of the originals as a kid, and I remember the first movie I saw at the theater was either 3 or 4. I remember thinking it was awesome and that I ate Smarties...That's it. We were both pretty stoked since it was directed by Brian Singer from the X-Men series. We were both really impressed and enjoyed the CGI involved in it. The animators did not have the benefit of a superhero who wears a mask, and it is almost indistinguishable between the real and CGI superman. The plotline stayed true to the original whereby Lex Luthor has a "plan" to take over the world. I won't go into details and ruin it for everyone. The only downside I can say is that it is a little long (2.5 hours) and when I get tickets to the late show at the end of the week there is the possibility to doze off when you are in really comfortable seats...
