So I'm back at work...thesis is looking good. I am just about ready to send it off to Snarl's mom for some final editing. Hopefully next week it will be a book! The holiday was awesome. Snarl and I had a great time in Surfers. Went went to Australia Zoo (for those of you who don't know this is the crazy Steve Irwin zoo....yes yes the "Croc Hunter") that was rad. We saw lots of animals....as a note I spelt "lots"..."lawts" who am I and why did my mind do that initially. As soon as I was finished I was weirded out and pissed at myself for being an idiot. It is weird because I have no idea where it came from...I guess I can blame it on post holiday stress disorder. But away from the tangent, it is a great place to visit. The animals are treated well. They promote it as an educational and conservation park rather than a traditional zoo. It really shows in the way they treat all the inhabitants. Ayways, in all, its cool! We also went to this giant water slide park called "Wet and Wild". It sounds like a total porno name and thats all I can think about when I hear it. What made it better is that it is situated next to Australia's 2 huge theme parks "Dreamworld" and "Movie World". If it isn't porn name heaven, I don't know what is. Well, other than the peeling sunburn, I had a great time and came home with some awesome new clothes. My personal favorite is a retro Spiderman t-shirt. Shit like that just doens't come around every day. I am going to put up some pics from the adventure when I get some free time so stay tuned.
I also had a good job interview when I got back in Auckland. It is the perfect job for what I want to do but I am a little aprehenive over doing the long distance thing with Snalr. After living together for pretty much 3 years, moving away and coming down to see her is gonna be weird. I do need to get some experiance and the job is pretty much perfect. Definately some thinking is happening this week.
