Oh The Festivities

Been busy the last couple days. My boss has started delelgating me a lot of new things. It is pretty good because I get to work and really don't know what I will be doing until I get there. It makes things kinda fun. On Thursday I found out that Auckland was hosting the IIHF World Hockey Champs (Division 2 Pool B)....So it was basically the bottom of the barrel for hockey countries. I figured I would watch Chine (who was just relegated) vs the Ice Black of NZ. I was really surprised to see the size and quality of the Chinese players. NZ on the other hand need a good coach and kick in the ass. I figure that since China has a billion people they are going to be able to throw a half ass good team in any sport really. In quality of hockey in Canadian terms it looked like a midget team playing a Junior A team. While not the best game to watch (China won 5-0, but should have been more) it really made me miss it.

Today I decided to cruise down to the waterfront to Wine and Food festival. It ended up being pretty sweet. There was so much free food, cheap nice wine, with some bands playing. I went to a couple tasting and was taught a little about wine. I really wished that I was there with someone other than myself but I didn't know how sweet is was gonna be. I was cracking up at the skanky girls who were just getting boozed though. My predator instincts were on and could tell the bitches who had been there since it opened at 10am. You know...While everyone else was sitting around talking they were dancing and running their fingers through there hair to the music being played on a CD between bands thinking they were so fucking hot. It reminded me of that Jeff Foxworthy skit from way back when...
