Sports Orgy 2

So the hockey and basketball playoffs are over now with the Heat and the 'Canes coming through on top. The Edmonton run to the Stanley Cup finals definitely kept my interest. It was quite cool because Jarrett Stoll played his junior hockey for the Kootenay Ice and it has been great watching his development from a 16 year old kid to now the go to faceoff man for the Oilers. I also played against Shaun Horcoff back in the day when he was the man in Castlegar. You know he was going big places when he was the leading scorer for the RMJHL as a 15 year old. The Canucks have announced that Alan Vinnault as their new head coach after anchoring the Manitoba Moose to a number of successful seasons. Hopefully he can get my team back in order.

I went to the All Blacks vs Ireland last weekend and it was an amazing experience. 40K fans going mental in the ice cold rain. I was so damn cold and wet that I had to wrap these little plastic flags over my legs to help keep the rain off. It was definitely and experience to remember.

I have been watching the World Cup in the morning before work. Me and few buddy's put together a little pool. Luckily, I ended up with Brazil and Czech as my teams and I have a great chance of taking home the money....Oh ya.
